Description
Outer spherical bearings typically have a spherical (convex) outer surface and an elongated inner ring (
, using different types of locking devices. Different series of outer spherical bearings are locked onto the shaft in different ways:

The extended outer spherical bearings on both sides of the inner ring operate more smoothly because the extended parts can reduce the inclination of the inner ring on the shaft.
The standard IMCB outer spherical bearing series introduced in this chapter also includes the following special application types:
