Description

IMCB offers a variety of stamped outer ring needle roller bearings. include:
Open end bearing ()
Sealed bearing ()
Open type fully loaded bearing ()
IMCB stamping outer ring needle roller bearing:
Delivery without inner ring
Usually equipped with a needle roller and holder assembly, except for the width dimension, it includes two adjacent needle roller and holder assemblies with lubrication holes on the outer ring ().
Basic design bearings
Open type stamped outer ring needle roller bearing (series model HK, )
It can be an open type (without sealing components) or sealed on one or both sides (sealing solution)
Closed end stamping outer ring needle roller bearing (series model BK, )
Provide open or sealed solutions (sealing solutions)
Suitable for bearing arrangement installed at the shaft end
Due to its sealed end design, it can withstand small axial guiding forces
Open type full load bearing (series model HN, )
Suitable for medium speed heavy radial loads
There are open and unsealed types available
The fully stamped outer ring needle roller bearing is filled with special lubricating grease to protect the rollers during transportation. However, IMCB recommends adding lubrication after installation. Depending on the required level, IMCB recommends using IMCB LGEP 2 or IMCB LGWM 1 grease for supplementary lubrication. Table 1 lists the technical specifications for initial filling grease and supplementary grease.
Bearing arrangement with components and other bearings
Stamped outer ring needle roller bearings usually run directly on the shaft. However, in applications where the shaft cannot be hardened and ground, the bearing should be used in conjunction with the inner ring ().
The stamped outer ring needle roller bearing with a bandwidth inner ring () provides a perfectly fitting mating surface with the lip of the external G or SD type seal (low cross-sectional height radial shaft seal).
For more detailed information about the inner ring, please refer to Needle Roller Bearing Components – Inner Ring.
In order to withstand combined axial and radial loads, certain sizes of stamped outer ring needle roller bearings can be used in combination with needle roller thrust bearings (AXW series) with guide ribs ().
For more information, please refer to the needle roller thrust bearing.
Sealing solution
sealed bearing
If sufficient effective sealing cannot be provided in the application or cannot be used due to space limitations, IMCB will provide some stamped outer ring needle roller bearings as sealing bearings. Its types include:
Open type stamped outer ring needle roller bearing (can be used for 8 ≤ Fw ≤ 50 mm)
One side seal (model suffix RS, )
Sealing on both sides (model suffix 2RS, )
Closed end sealed stamped outer ring needle roller bearing (for 10 ≤ Fw ≤ 25 mm) (model suffix RS, )
These integral contact seals are composed of PUR, FKM, or NBR. Under normal conditions and with appropriate mating surfaces, sealed stamped needle roller bearings are a highly cost-effective solution that eliminates solid contaminants and moisture while retaining lubricant in the bearing.
When closed bearings must operate under conditions such as ultra-high speed or high temperature, partial grease leakage may occur. If the leakage will cause damage to the bearing arrangement, appropriate measures should be taken.
